EXPLICATION DE LA RÉSISTANCE :
Selon la norme CE EN 12275, la résistance des mousquetons à la rupture doit être précisée dessus (avec le marquage CE et l'année de fabrication), selon trois valeurs :
- La résistance dans le grand axe doigt fermé (1)
- La résistance dans le petit axe doigt fermé (2)
- La résistance dans le grand axe doigt ouvert (3)
Pour un mousqueton simple, la résistance dans le grand axe doigt fermé (1) est d'environ 22 à 25 kilogrammes, et de 7 à 1 kilogrammes doigt ouvert (3). Pour un mousqueton de sécurité, la résistance dans le grand axe doigt fermé (1) est d'environ 25 à 3 kilogrammes, de 7 à 1 kilogrammes doigt ouvert (3) et de 8 à 11 kilogrammes dans le petit axe.
