Bio-Baumwolle ist eine bemerkenswerte Naturfaser, bei deren Herstellung auf chemische Düngemittel und Pestizide verzichtet wird. Diese Baumwolle ist gentechnikfrei und der Wasserverbrauch für ihren Anbau ist im Vergleich zu konventioneller Baumwolle um die Hälfte reduziert. Ihre Faser wird mit Wasserstoffperoxid und nicht mit Chlor gebleicht. Die Färbemittel werden ohne Schwermetalle oder andere krebserregende Stoffe hergestellt. |
